Effective April 2022, Sootchy paused the processing of new 529 college savings plan applications while we work to expand our platform and offering. This includes enhanced products and features, such as custodial accounts, digital wallets, and additional services expected to become available in the future.

Existing Sootchy Account Owners may continue to access their 529 education savings plan accounts directly through the applicable 529 plan provider. Account Owners can manage contributions, request withdrawals, and invite friends and family to contribute by following the instructions below.

Instructions for Utah my529 Account Owners

1. Visit

   login.my529.org/register

2. Select the registration type: “I have accounts with my529”

3. Enter the existing my529 Account Owner’s Social Security Number and Date of Birth

4. Follow the prompts to register your my529 account and access your 529 education savings plan account(s)

Instructions for Arkansas Brighter Future Advisor 529 Account Owners

1. Visit

   brighterfutureadvisor529.com/ishareadvtpl/auth/wrB.cs

2. Enter the existing 529 Account Number, Account Owner’s Social Security Number, and ZIP Code

3. Follow the prompts to register your Arkansas Brighter Future Advisor 529 account and access your 529 education savings plan account(s)
